These Terms & Conditions apply to the use of this website and to any purchases made through it. By using our site and placing an order, you agree to be bound by the terms set out below.

2. USING OUR WEBSITE

You agree not to misuse the website or attempt to interfere with its security or functionality.

We reserve the right to refuse service or cancel orders at our discretion, including where we suspect fraudulent activity.

3. OUR PRODUCTS

We sell physical products through our website.

While our website is intended for consumer purchases, businesses are welcome to contact us separately to discuss bespoke commissions or trade projects.

All product descriptions, images, and measurements are provided as accurately as possible. Due to the nature of handmade, vintage, or textile items, slight variations in colour, texture, or finish may occur and are not considered faults.

4. BESPOKE & PERSONALISED ITEMS

Customers may enquire about commissions or personalised items via email.

Any bespoke or personalised items agreed outside of the website will be subject to separate terms confirmed in writing.

Personalised and bespoke items are non-refundable, except where an item is faulty or damaged.

5. PRICES & PAYMENTS

All prices are shown in GBP (£) and include VAT where applicable.

Payment is taken at checkout via Shopify’s secure payment system.

We reserve the right to change prices at any time, but this will not affect orders that have already been confirmed.

6. SHIPPING & DELIVERY

We currently ship within the UK only.

Standard delivery: 3–5 business days
Shipping cost: £5.99
Free shipping on orders over £90
Orders are sent via Royal Mail unless otherwise stated

For purchases of large artworks, we will contact you by email after purchase to confirm any specialist shipping arrangements where necessary.

Delivery times are estimates and cannot be guaranteed. We are not responsible for delays caused by postal services or events outside our control.

7. RETURNS & REFUNDS

You have the right to return eligible items within 14 days of receiving your order.

To be eligible for a return:

Items must be unused
Items must be in the same condition and original packaging as received

We are unable to:

Cover the cost of return postage
Refund the original delivery charge

Non-Refundable Items

Sale items
Personalised or bespoke items

These are non-refundable unless faulty or damaged.

8. FAULTY OR DAMAGED ITEMS

If your item arrives faulty or damaged, please contact us as soon as possible with:

Your order number
A description of the issue
Clear photographs where applicable

This does not affect your statutory rights under UK consumer law.

9. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All content on this website — including images, text, designs, and branding — is the property of Salvage & Selvedge and may not be copied, reproduced, or used without prior written permission.

10. LIABILITY
