WHERE RECLAIMED TEXTILES
BECOME MODERN HEIRLOOMS.
Made slowly with a reverence for material,
each piece carries the gentle, familiar charm of something treasured in a loved one’s home.
Salvage & Selvedge was created from a simple belief: the most meaningful pieces in a home are the ones that stay. The ones that grow softer with time, gather stories, and become woven into the rhythm of everyday life.
Founded by designer Caitlin Charles-Jones, Salvage & Selvedge transforms reclaimed remnants into timeless home pieces. Each collection begins with the cloth itself: fragments with history, character and quiet beauty. We rescue these remnants, honour their stories, and reimagine them through thoughtful design and patient craft.
Caitlin brings a designer’s discipline to every object. With a background in luxury knitwear and a Masters from the Royal College of Art, she approaches each piece with a trained eye for colour, pattern, proportion and harmony. This is not craft for craft’s sake, it is design grounded in expertise, shaped by years of working with materials at the highest level.
Every Salvage & Selvedge piece is made slowly, in small batches, guided by the belief that a home should feel warm, easeful and deeply personal. Our furnishings are created to feel familiar from the moment they arrive, like discovering a quietly beautiful object in a loved one’s home. Something treasured, comforting and enduring.
